OSDB to approve 2 CE hours for dentists who watch opioid prescribing guidelines video

The Governor’s Cabinet Opiate Action Team recently e-mailed dentists a short video to view on acute pain opioid prescribing guidelines. These guidelines were developed in conjunction with clinical professional associations, healthcare providers, licensing boards and state agencies.

The Ohio State Dental Board will approve 2 credit hours of C.E. for viewing the video and answering the accompanying questions, if completed by July 31, 2016. An email will be sent to participants by the Dental Board, no later than August 30, acknowledging that they have earned these C.E. credit hours.
