ODA LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE TO FEATURE BRANDON COLLIER AS SPEAKER
As many of you know, the ODA’s Leadership Institute is an annual two-day CE event that focuses on providing programming that enhances dentists’ leadership skills for use in their practices and their communities, and within organized dentistry. The next ODA Leadership Institute is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, March 22, and the morning of Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Hilton Columbus Polaris Hotel on the north end of Columbus. It is open to all ODA member dentists.
We are excited that the kickoff keynote speaker for the 2024 Leadership Institute will be Brandon Collier, who is a nationally recognized speaker, lawyer, dental practice management consultant and author. During his nearly 25-year career of serving the dental profession, Collier has advised and influenced thousands of dentists across the country on how to increase their inner and outer wealth. Collier regularly assists dentists to grow their practices into prosperous businesses while enhancing their work-life balance and serving their patients. Collier’s keynote presentation will focus on strategies to enhance dentists’ ability to achieve their potential both professionally and personally.
Collier will also present a breakout session “To DSO or Not to DSO,” during which he will discuss the pros and cons of participating with dental service organizations.
The Leadership Institute will also feature breakout sessions on legal and regulatory compliance in the dental office and strategies for incorporating Medicaid patients into dental practices in light of the new, increased Medicaid fees. Attendees will have the ability to choose two of three breakout sessions that fit their needs.
The Leadership Institute will also feature presentations on dentists achieving a good work-life balance, an update on legislation impacting on the practice of dentistry pending at the Ohio Statehouse, a preview of national and state elections, an update on dental workforce trends, a town hall discussion with the ODA’s Executive Committee where attendees can ask questions directly of the ODA’s leadership, and updates from ADA leaders as well.
