New Ohio Dental Association Executive Committee officers installed

The Ohio Dental Association installed new Executive Committee officers for the 2011-2012 term on Sept. 16, 2011, during the 145th ODA Annual Session in Columbus, Ohio.
“This group of dedicated individuals is exceptionally well qualified to lead the ODA,” said ODA Executive Director David J. Owsiany, JD. “I have confidence they will represent the Ohio Dental Association with great professionalism and skill.”
The Executive Committee is the managing body of the Ohio Dental Association. The Committee administers the policies established by the ODA House of Delegates and the Ad Interim Committee.
The 2011-2012 ODA Executive Committee includes:

President Mark Bronson, DDS, Cincinnati Dental Society
President-elect Kim Gardner, DDS, North Eastern Ohio Dental Society
Vice President Paul Casamassimo, DDS, MS, Columbus Dental Society
Immediate-past President Thomas Matanzo, DDS, Eastern Ohio Dental Society
Secretary David Waldman, DDS, Corydon Palmer Dental Society
Treasurer Roger Hess, DDS, Greater Cleveland Dental Society
Speaker of the House Michael Halasz, DDS, Dayton Dental Society

The Executive Committee traditionally meets five times during the year and consists of seven members. The president, president-elect, vice president, immediate-past president, secretary and treasurer are the voting members of the committee.
The speaker of the House is a non-voting ex officio member of the committee.
