Medicaid to continue implementation preparations for ICD-10 in advance of delayed compliance date

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is expected to release an interim final rule with a new ICD-10 compliance date of Oct. 1, 2015. The rule will require HIPAA covered entities to use the ICD-9 through Sept. 30, 2015.
