Canfield dentist installed as Ohio Dental Association president-elect

Dr. Lori Fitzgerald of Canfield was installed as president-elect of the Ohio Dental Association on Oct. 1 during the ODA’s House of Delegates meeting.
In her role as president-elect, Fitzgerald will serve on the ODA’s Executive Committee overseeing the management of the association throughout the next year.
Fitzgerald is a general dentist in private practice in Canfield. She received her DDS degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
She is a past president of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society, past chair of the ODA’s Annual Session Committee and Council on Membership Services. She is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy, and a member of the American Association of Women Dentists.
The Ohio Dental Association represents more than 5,000 member dentists, nearly 70% of the state’s licensed dentists. ODA member dentists provide more than $40 million in donated care and services annually, and they are bound by the highest ethical standards and have access to superior ongoing education, training and resources.
