Canton dentist installed as Ohio Dental Association speaker of the house
Dr. Kelly Roth of Canton was installed as speaker of the house of the Ohio Dental Association on Sept. 16 during the ODA’s House of Delegates meeting.
In her role as speaker of the house, Roth will serve on the ODA’s Executive Committee overseeing the management of the association throughout the next year.
Roth is a general dentist in practice in Canton. She attended Westminster College before earning her DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
She is a current member of the ADA Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs. She previously served as the ODA’s vice speaker of the House of Delegates; is a past president of the Stark County Dental Society; past chair of the ODA Credentials, Rules and Order Committee; and past member of the ODA Council on Membership Services. She is a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Academy of General Dentistry, National Association of Parliamentarians and International College of Dentists.
The Ohio Dental Association represents more than 5,000 member dentists, nearly 70% of the state’s licensed dentists. ODA member dentists provide more than $40 million in donated care and services annually, and they are bound by the highest ethical standards and have access to superior ongoing education, training and resources.
