Two new members appointed to Dental Board
Gov. John Kasich recently appointed two new members to the Ohio State Dental Board, Dr. Faisal Quereshy, MD, DDS, FACS and Dr. Canise Bean, DMD, MPH.
Quereshy is an associate professor and residency program director at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his DDS from the State University of New York School of Dental Medicine and his MD from CWRU. He received his surgical specialty training at the residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. He has served as a delegate to the Ohio Dental Association House of Delegates and has served on the ODA Dental Education and Licensure Committee.
Bean is a clinical professor at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in the General Practice and Materials Science Division and is the director of the Office of Community Education and the OHIO Project (Oral Health Improvement through Outreach). She received her DDS from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and an MS in Public Health from Ohio State. Bean has served as a delegate to the Ohio Dental Association House of Delegates and on the ODA Council on Dental Care Programs and Dental Practice as well as on the ADA Council on Communications.
