Garry L. Bey, DDS

Dr. Bey is in private practice in New York and New Jersey, specializing in Endodontics.  He received his DDS degree from the NYU College of Dentistry and his residency in Endodontics from over 30 countries.  He is a member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), the American Dental Association (ADA), the New York State Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and he is the Past President of the Rockland County Dental Society.  When he is not in the office, Dr. Bey enjoys spending time with this family.  He also likes to travel and is an avid golfer.  Presenting Courses: F35; F53



Lee Ann Brady, DMD
Dr. Brady is a privately practicing dentist and nationally recognized educator, lecturer and author. With an extensive history in leadership, she is currently the Director of Education for the Pankey Institute. Dr. Brady has also developed a vast library of online instruction at www.leeannbrady.com and restorativenation.com. Ashleigh Briody, DDS

Dr. Briody earned her DDS degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2014 and is scheduled to complete her training in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at The Ohio State University this summer. Karen Davis, RDH, BSDH

Ms. Davis is the founder of Cutting Edge Concepts®.  With insightful humor and how-to information, she delivers the timely and effective messages dental industry members need to succeed in today’s world.  Karen is also a practicing dental hygienist in Dallas, Texas. Karen received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Midwestern State University. Nancy Dewhirst BS, RDH

Ms. Dewhirst graduated from the University of Southern California, practiced dental hygiene for 20 years and is an adjunct dental hygiene professor at West Coast University. Ms. Dewhirst, consistently listed as one of the nation’s leaders in CE, presents at major U.S. and Canadian Dental Conferences, and is a member of the California Dental Association Speakers Bureau and OSAP Speakers Bureaus. Justin Ditkofsky

Mr. Ditkofsky is Vice President, Healthcare Leasing for Cirrus Consulting Group.  Considered one of North America’s experts in advising dentists on how to best set up, negotiate and manage what is considered the second biggest expense in their practice:  the dental office lease.  Justin leads Cirrus’ renowned team whose primary focus is to support dentists nationwide.  Founded in 1994 by dentists for dentists, Cirrus Consulting Group is a firm devoted to dental office lease negotiation and review services for dentists.  Presenting Course: S71



Robert R. Edwab, DDS

Dr. Edwab is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who has been in private practice for over 35 years.  This means he performs the same procedures you do under the same office conditions and deals with the same insurance companies.  He has lectured on basic oral surgery for the general practitioner at many of the largest dental meetings both nationally and internationally.  He is known for his humor, enthusiasm and ability to demystify office procedures so they can be performed by any competent general practitioner. Paul Feuerstein, DMD

Dr. Feuerstein received his undergraduate training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is a 1972 graduate of University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. He maintains a general practice in Chelmsford, MA, is an adjunct assistant professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and serves as the Technology Editor for Dentistry Today.  He installed one of the first in-office computers in 1978 and has been teaching and consulting since then.  Presenting Courses:  F57; S68



Greg Gillespie, DDS

As a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Dr. Gillespie approaches dentistry in a progressive, yet conservative manner. His success in dentistry stems from the clarity and effectiveness of communication with colleagues, staff, and patients. Dr. Gillespie maintains a full time practice in Vancouver, WA, focusing on general dentistry with an emphasis on implant dentistry. His vision of comprehensive dentistry focuses on effective treatment planning and utilizing the best dental materials available. He is involved in ongoing evaluations of the latest materials and techniques in dentistry. Dr. Gillespie holds a strong passion for continuing education, devoting hours to furthering his own knowledge in esthetics, implants, and dental materials. Howard Glazer, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Glazer is a Fellow and Past President of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a former Assistant Clinical Professor in Dentistry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY). He has been a visiting clinician at several universities around the country. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists; International College of Dentists; American Society for Dental Aesthetics, the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Glazer is an Attending Dentist at the Englewood Hospital (Englewood, NJ). Additionally, Dr. Glazer is the Deputy Chief Forensic Dental Consultant to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, City of New York.  For the past several years, Dr. Glazer has been named as one of the “Leading Clinicians in Continuing Education” by Dentistry Today and most recently was named as one of the Top Dentists in New Jersey by New Jersey Monthly & 201 Magazine. He lectures throughout the United States, Canada, and overseas on the subjects of dental materials, cosmetic dentistry, forensic dentistry and patient management. Additionally, Dr. Glazer is a frequent author of dental articles and has been published throughout the world. Henry A. Gremillion, DDS, MAGD

Dr. Gremillion, a Louisiana native and 1977 graduate of the LSUHSC School of Dentistry (LSUSD), is the sixth dean since the founding of the dental school in 1968. He is also the only LSUSD alumnus who has held the position. His previous appointment was at the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry (UFCD), where he was the Parker E. Mahan Endowed Professor of Orofacial Pain in the Department of Orthodontics and a member of the dental staff of Shands Teaching Hospital. Dr. Gremillion also served for 17 years as the director of the UFCD Parker Mahan Facial Pain Center and its fellowship program in craniomandibular dysfunction. He has been a member of the associate faculty of the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and in 2005 he was appointed an associate faculty member at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Gremillion also has served as a consultant for temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain to the Malcolm Randall Veterans Administration Hospital, the United States Army, Navy, and Air Force, and the American Dental Association’s Council on Dental Practice. Since 2002, he has been co-investigator on four research projects with funding exceeding $3 million. He has authored or co-authored eighty-five scientific articles, abstracts, and textbook chapters. Theresa Groody, M.Ed., EFDA, CDA

Ms. Groody has worked in the area of clinical and academic dentistry for more than 35 years. She teaches EFDA Lecture and Laboratory courses at Harcum College, where she is employed as the Director of Professional Studies. In 2011, Ms. Groody was appointed to fill the newly created EFDA position on the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry. As an appointed curriculum consultant for the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), Ms. Groody conducts site visits for assisting programs across the country and enjoys taking Assistants and EFDAs around the country to their next level.  Presenting Courses:  T15; T25



Parag R. Kachalia, DDS

Dr. Kachalia is a tenured associate professor, the Vice Chair of Simulation, Technology and Research and is a team leader within the University of the Pacific’s prestigious complex and esthetic rehabilitation program. He is a fellow of the International and American College of Dentists as well as the American Dental Education Association’s leadership institute.  Dr. Kachalia is also a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.   In addition, he is a researcher, as well as a published author in the areas of dental technology, digital diagnostics, contemporary fixed prosthodontics, and financial management.  In 2017 Dr. Kachalia was selected as one of the Top 10 Young Educators in Dentistry in the United States.  He has lectured internationally in the areas of adhesive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, photography, CAD/CAM technology, fixed prosthodontics, treatment planning, erosion, and digital diagnostics. Dr. Kachalia acts a consultant for many dental materials/dental technology companies and helps guide product development. Dr. Kachalia is a member of the Seattle Study Club and Catapult Speaker’s Bureau. Ron Kaminer, DDS

Dr. Kaminer is a 1990 graduate from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.  He maintains two practices, one in Hewlett, NY and one in Oceanside, NY.  Dr. Kaminer is an international expert in the field of dental lasers and has lectured on lasers and minimally invasive dentistry both nationally and internationally.  He is the Director of the Masters of Laser training program in New York and is a clinical instructor with the International College of Laser Education. He sits on the advisory boards and is a clinical consultant for numerous dental manufacturers.  He has authored numerous articles on dental lasers and minimally invasive dentistry and is an associate editor for Dental Product Shopper.  He has some Hollywood and TV credits to his name.  The sound for the Steve Martin movie “Novocaine” was shot in his office and he has appeared as a Dental expert on MSN Money, Fox Business and the Lifetime channel.   He is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry and American Dental Association. Sylvia Malcmacher Kramer, DDS

After graduating from The Ohio State University Dental Hygiene Program and practicing as a hygienist for four years, Dr. Sylvia Malcmacher Kramer continued her dental education at Case Western Reserve University where she earned her DDS in 1982.  In addition to working as a clinical dentist and a dental consultant, Dr. Kramer has had academic appointments at Case School of Dental Medicine, Lakeland Community College Dental Hygiene Program, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Since 1999, when the law changed to allow dental hygienists to practice under general supervision, Dr. Kramer has taught the OSDB mandated medical emergencies course to hundreds of hygienists, dentists, and entire office teams. She is known for her comprehensive, thorough, and interactive style. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.  Presenting Course: F30



Constance R. Kuntupis, RDH, MA

Connie Kuntupis is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry in the Division of Oral Maxillofacial Pathology and Radiology, at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty University in West Virginia.  After several years of clinical experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Ms. Kuntupis completed a Master of Arts degree in Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning at The Ohio State University.  As a dental hygienist in the General Practice Residency / Advanced General Dentistry Clinic at OSU from 1992 – 1998, Ms. Kuntupis has specialized in providing care to patients with significant medical or physical disabilities and patients with special needs.  As an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry in the Division of Oral Maxillofacial Pathology and Radiology for more than twenty years, Ms. Kuntupis has completed several courses beyond her Master’s degree on how to improve teaching and learning as well as numerous Oral Radiography continuing education courses and workshops across the country.  Presenting Course: F58



Susan McMahon, DMD, AAACD

Dr. McMahon is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and enjoys a thriving dental practice in Western Pennsylvania focusing on esthetics and oral health. She is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a fellow in the International Academy of Dental-Facial Esthetics, and a fellow in the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She is an ASDA member and a member of the Catapult Group Speakers Bureau. An author and lecturer, Dr. McMahon has devoted her professional career to the pursuit of advanced technologies in cosmetic dentistry and smile design.  She is a past clinical instructor in Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine and a guest lecturer at the University of West Virginia, School of Dentistry. She also lectures in both the United States and Europe on cosmetic dentistry and teeth whitening. A seven-time award winner in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s Annual Smile Gallery, Dr. McMahon has twice been awarded gold medals. Christopher A. Moore, MA

Chris Moore currently serves as director of dental services for the Ohio Dental Association.  He has served at the ODA for 28 years and currently administers the association's third-party payer, peer review, dental practice and regulatory compliance programs.  Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Arts degree from Kent State University.  Presenting Course:  Y74



David J. Owsiany, JD

David Owsiany has served as executive director of the Ohio Dental Association since 2002. He previously served as director of legislative and legal services for the ODA, was a clerk to Justice Robert W. Cook of the Illinois Appellate Court, worked for the staff of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and was president of the Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions. He is an honorary member of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. David earned his BA degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and his JD degree from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.  Presenting Course:  Y75



Laci L. Phillips

Laci discovered at an early age her true passion for speaking and entertaining audiences. As a founding partner at Practice Dynamics she combines her knowledge of dentistry with passion for teams to deliver customized coaching, workshops and speaking events throughout the country. Laci began her road to coaching as a chairside assistant while going to college to pursue a dream of one day having her own talk show. While working her way to the business side of dentistry, she was fortunate to learn from top industry professionals. Greg Psaltis, DDS

Dr. Greg Psaltis has been a pediatric dentist for 42 years, primarily in private practice in Olympia, Washington following three years in the US Navy. In addition to enjoying his practice, he lectures frequently on pediatric topics, as well as communication skills and practice management. He has published in several professional journals and often vacations by volunteering in Mexico and Bolivia to provide care for children without hope of access of care. His unique speaking style reflects his years of experience and keen observations, thus making his programs informative and entertaining. He was recently given the Gordon J. Mary Ellen Psaltis, B.Ph.

Mary Ellen Psaltis, a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant, teaches and encourages people to create healthy lifestyles that are actually possible to maintain. As a speaker and long-time food & lifestyles columnist, she is enthusiastic about health and living well. She is the co-author of Spiritual Vitamins12 Essential Nutrients for Woman.  Mary Ellen strives to improve communication on all levels. She also enjoys being part of a pediatric dental team that provides annual care for children in Zihuatanejo and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Reid Pullen DDS, FAGD

Dr. Pullen has worked as an Endodontist in private practice since 2006 and has owned his own practice in Brea, CA since 2007.  Dr. Pullen graduated in 1995 with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis and then graduated in 1999 with a D.D.S. from the University of Southern California.  He completed a 1 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry while in the U.S. Army in 2000 and served in the Army dental corps from 1999-2002 stationed in Landstuhl, Germany.  Dr. Pullen worked as a General Dentist in private practice in Yorba Linda, CA from 2002-2004 and then attended the Long Beach VA Endodontic Residency graduating in 2006 with a certificate in Endodontics.  He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2013.  Presenting Courses: T18; T24

Kristi Simone

Kristi Simone joined Whiteboard Marketing in 2013, but has partnered with Sean on multiple projects since 2011.  Her husband, Dr. Bryan Simone, owns The Grove City Center for Dentistry in Grove City, Ohio. Todd Snyder, DDS

Dr. Todd Snyder received his doctorate at the UCLA School of Dentistry and has trained at the F.A.C.E. institute.  He is an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is a member of the Catapult Elite Group.  Dr. Snyder was on the faculty at U.C.L.A. where he created and co-directed the first two-year graduate program in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry. Jon Suzuki, DDS, PhD, MBA

Dr. Jon Suzuki is Professor of Microbiology and Immunology (School of Medicine) and Professor of Periodontology and Oral Implantology (School of Dentistry) at Temple University. He served as Chairman and Director of Graduate Periodontology and Oral Implantology, and Associate Dean for Graduate Education at Temple University. He also served as Dean, Chief of Hospital Dentistry, and CEO of the Faculty Practice Plan at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Suzuki is the current Chairman of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Dental Products Panel. He is on the faculty of the US Walter Reed National Medical Center, and holds Professorships at the University of Maryland, the University of Washington and Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Suzuki received his DDS from Loyola University of Chicago and PhD in Microbiology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He completed an N.I.H. Fellowship in Immunology at the University of Washington, and a Clinical Certificate in Periodontics at the University of Maryland. He earned an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He served as Chairman of the American Dental Association (ADA) Council on Scientific Affairs and continues to serve as ADA consultant on the Scientific Council, Dental Practice Council, and the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Dr. Suzuki served on the National Institutes of Health National Dental Advisory Research Council, and numerous NIH Study Sections. Dr. Suzuki has hospital appointments at Temple Episcopal Hospital and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Fellow of the American and International College of Dentists, Specialist Microbiologist of the National Registry of Medical Microbiology, and Diplomate, Board Examiner, and immediate Past President of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  Dr. Suzuki is the current Executive Secretary/Treasurer of the Supreme Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Honorary Dental Society, and has served in this position for a quarter of a century. He is in private practice limited to hospital dentistry in Philadelphia. Dr. Suzuki has published over 200 papers, chapters, and symposia, 200 abstracts, and 1 textbook in Medical Technology.  Presenting Courses:  F39; F47



Michael C. Verber, DMD, FICOI

Dr. Verber’s passion for dentistry and design has driven him to explore ways that new technologies can work with timeless principals. He works to combine creative solutions with systematic approaches in treatment planning for predictable results. After graduating from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2003, Michael began his career working under the mentorship of his father in private practice.  He now also serves as the CEO of the Verber Dental Group, focusing on the implementation of high quality comprehensive dentistry into a large multi-location group practice. In 2011, he became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and began speaking at educational seminars for dental and medical professionals on TMD, treatment planning, and implant restoration.  He has since become a Key Opinion Leader for Implant Direct. In his free time he also enjoys writing. His work has most recently been published in Inside Dentistry. Verber has also founded the Verber Advanced Dental Institute to study and treat complex occlusal, TMD, and cosmetic cases. Fostering a cooperative spirit among dentists who seek to share ideas and expertise, the institute is the home of multiple study clubs, including the Central Pennsylvania Dawson Academy Study Club. Dr. Verber serves as the Director of Study Clubs for The Dawson Academy, and is also a member of the faculty. Founded by Dr. Peter Dawson, the Academy trains clinicians in the comprehensive treatment of the masticatory system and the delivery of complete dentistry. Melinda Whire, EFDA

Ms. Whire currently works as the Clinical Director of the Verber Advanced Dental Institute where her primary responsibilities include chairside assisting and management of complex restorative cases, mentorship of fellow dental assistants, and facilitation of continuing education efforts.  Melinda has been working as an assistant for nearly 20 years.  After receiving her Extended Function Dental Assisting license a decade ago, she has been working with Dr. Michael Verber.  Whire has been a pioneer in the relatively new field of Extend Function Dental Assisting.  She has completed most of the Dawson Academy Core Curriculum designed for dentists, and is the only dental assistant to maintain membership in the Dawson Academy’s global Study Club and Alumni Association.  She has served as in instructor with the Academy and speaks on team approaches that support the highest quality care and increased production.  Melinda’s educational background gives her rare insight into the when, where, why, and how of Complete Dentistry.  Originally a California girl, Melinda now shares her Pennsylvania home with her husband, cats, chickens, and even a pot-bellied pig. Sean White

Sean White is President and CEO of Whiteboard Marketing.  Founded initially as a TV production company in 2005, as its clients’ needs changed, Whiteboard Marketing has evolved into a full-service marketing agency that specializes in dental practice and small-business partnerships. George A. Zarb, DDS, MSc, MS, FRCD(C)

Dr. Zarb is arguably one of the most respected clinical scholars in the field of Prosthodontics. Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Prosthodontics , he retired as Professor and Head of Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto following a distinguished forty-year academic career.  Dr. Zarb has lectured nationally and internationally, and has written numerous papers on different aspects of his very eclectic discipline. He has co-authored fourteen textbooks, and contributed chapters to several others. He has been a visiting professor in numerous universities around the world, and has organized and edited the published proceedings from 5 international conferences. His most recent research was in the field of Implant Prosthodontics and he has had an ongoing part-time private practice in Prosthodontics in Toronto since 1966. He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including an Honorary Doctorate of Science from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden; an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Dalhousie University, Canada; an Honorary M.D. from his original alma mater, the University of Malta; an Honorary Doctorate of medicine from the University of Turin, Italy; and an Honorary Doctorate of Science from the University of Montreal. He was the recipient in 1993 of the International Association for Dental Research Award in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, as well as an Honorary Fellowship from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of England.  Dr. Zarb received the Thaddeus Weclew Honorary Fellowship from Academy of General Dentistry in 2001, the Elmer S. Best Award from the Pierre Fauchard Academy in 2005, and the Goldhaber Science Award from Harvard University in 2006. He was recognized twice by the Canadian Dental Association (Honorary Member and Distinguished Service); and he is the only recipient of all 3 awards from the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics - Teaching, Research and Professional Service. In February 2008, he received the Golden Medal from the American Prosthodontic Society. He is Past President of the International College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Prosthodontics (USA) and the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada.  He is the 2017 recipient of the Callahan Memorial Award.  Presenting Course: F45
