Dentists will need TDDD license to possess, distribute controlled substances

The Ohio General Assembly recently passed a law that will require all health care providers, including dentists, to obtain a Terminal Distributor of Dangerous Drugs (TDDD) license from the Ohio Board of Pharmacy to possess, have custody or control of, and distribute a schedule I, II, III, IV, or V controlled substance. This requirement goes into effect April 1.
