Registration for the 2015 ODA Annual Session is opening later this month. The 149th ODA Annual Session – Excellence in Collaboration – is Sept. 17-20 in Columbus.

This year, the ODA is offering several Annual Session registration incentives.

Early registrants will be entered for a chance to “shake it off” at a Taylor Swift concert after a day of classes and shopping the Exhibit Hall. Taylor Swift will be performing at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Sept. 17 and 18. Those who register for Annual Session by June 15 will have an opportunity to win two tickets for either the Thursday or Friday concert. Those who register by the Aug. 3 pre-registration deadline will have a chance to win four tickets to the Thursday show.

Not a Taylor Swift fan? The ODA is also offering a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Ohio State game on Sept. 19. Tickets to see the National Champion OSU Buckeyes will be in high demand this year – but the ODA has a pair to their game against the Northern Illinois Huskies. An entry ticket will be included with registration materials, and it must be dropped at the ODA Membership Booth by 5:30 p.m. Sept. 17 to enter. Attendees must be present in the Exhibit Hall to win.

In addition to these chances to win tickets, the ODA offers special events that all attendees can participate in. New this year, “Bright Lights, Big City: Discover the Hollywood Casino” will offer attendees a chance to experience the sights and sounds of Central Ohio’s only Vegas-style Casino on Thursday, Sept. 17. The fun will start on the bus, with prizes awarded on the trip to the Casino. The bus leaves the Convention Center at 6:30 p.m. and departs the Hollywood Casino at 11 p.m. Cost is $35 per person, which includes scheduled transportation to and from Hollywood Casino and $10 in gambling chips.

The ODA Council on Membership Services also will be hosting “Bollywood Meets Columbus!” from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 17. This free Bollywood-themed reception will feature entertainment and updates on the future of dentistry in Ohio.

Annual Session also will continue to feature the New Dentist Reception on Sept. 17, the Callahan Celebration of Excellence on Sept. 18 and The Bash! on Sept. 18.

But the ODA Annual Session offers more than just fun events – one of the most important parts of the meeting is the abundant list of courses offered for all members of the dental team and presented by nationally known speakers.

This year, attendees can earn up to 11 hours of free CE credits.

Watch for the Annual Session preview program that will be mailed later this month. Visit www.oda.org/events and watch the “ODA Today” for more information on courses, special events and more, plus be sure to like the ODA Annual Session Facebook page for more information and chances to win prizes.
