The 147th Annual Session of the Ohio Dental Association will take place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) complex. The headquarters hotels are the Hyatt Regency Columbus and the Hilton Columbus Downtown. Both hotels are connected to the GCCC. Most ODA Annual Session events and courses will be held in the GCCC, the Hyatt or the Hilton. ODA staff will be on-site at the GCCC from Wednesday, September 18 through Sunday, September 22.
Registration and a name badge are required to participate in all Annual Session activities. Registration fees include* admission to the Exhibit Hall and Table Clinics, the Welcome Reception, the BASH!, all Exhibit Hall events, Exhibit Hall door prizes for dentists and staff, and the selected continuing dental education seminars that are offered for no additional cost to member dentists and staff.
Pre-register online or download the registration form and submit it per the instructions listed. Registrations postmarked by August 2, 2013 are eligible for discounted registration fees. Pre-registration materials will be mailed in late August. If you register after August 16, badges and tickets must be picked up on-site at the ODA Registration desk (Hall C).
If you decide to register on site, plan to be at the ODA registration desk no less than one hour before your first CE course begins, in order to appropriately process your information. Be sure to select alternate courses in case your first choices are sold out.

Thursday, Sept 19 - 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Friday, Sept 20 - 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sept 21 - 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, Sept 22 - 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
* Saturday "Exhibits Only" Pass
The ODA will offer an Exhibits Only Pass on Saturday, Sept 21. Any dentist or staff member may register for no fee and shop in the exhibit hall on Saturday, only. Registrants in this category may not register for any CE courses, attend the Table Clinics, receive CE credits, or receive any other benefit included with other Annual Session registration categories and fees.
Free CE Courses
The Annual Session registration fee includes the ability to earn up to 11 free CE credits. Free CE courses are offered on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday of Annual Session – see the CE course listing for details. In addition, attendees have the opportunity to earn CE credits while attending the Table Clinics on Saturday in the Exhibit Hall. All of the free courses offered, as well as the Table Clinics, qualify toward the Ohio State Dental Board’s biennium licensure requirement.
If you have special needs and require accommodation to fully participate in the conference, please contact the ODA Annual Session Dept. prior to Annual Session, and the Information Desk located at the front of the Exhibit Hall during the conference. The ODA complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements for accessibility for persons with disabilities.
Seminar Seating & Courtesy
Plan to arrive early, as seating for all seminars is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please set all cell phones and pagers to “silent” during seminars. Seminar room locations will be included in the pre-registration packet mailed to all attendees who register by August 2, 2013.
Business casual dress is recommended for the convention. Dress warmly, in layers, as meeting rooms tend to be cool.
Child Care for children ages 6 months and older can be arranged. Contact the ODA for details.
Deductions are permitted for educational expenses, including registration fees, transportation, meals, and lodging. Check with your financial advisor for details.
Annual Session attendees grant permission to the Ohio Dental Association and their agents to utilize the attendee’s image or likeness in an effort to promote the Ohio Dental Association and/or the Ohio Dental Association Annual Session. Attendees waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or products and the advertising copy or other matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which it may be applied.
International attendees requiring a letter of invitation in order to obtain a VISA should complete the Invitation Request Form.
