Community Involvement
The Ohio Dentist Loan Repayment Program works to improve oral health in dental health resource shortage areas.
This program places contracted dentists in areas of Ohio that are underserved by dentists or have other challenges to dental care access. The ODLRP dentist agrees to provide dental services for Medicaid eligible patients and to provide care without regard to the patient’s ability to pay. In return, the contracting dentist receives repayment for dental student loan debt as indicated in the contract.
