Community Involvement
The ODA participates in numerous access to care events, many geared to the oral health of our most vulnerable populations. One of the biggest annual events to help Ohio children is Give Kids a Smile, a year-round children’s access event. In the first 11 years of GKAS, Ohio dental volunteers have provided more than $9,994,000 in free dental services to over 194,000 children in need! The official date of the next GKAS is Friday, February 7, 2014 and registration of your event begins Oct. 1, 2013.
