The Ohio Dental Association Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the ODA, committed to “Advancing Ohio Dentistry Today and Tomorrow.” Its mission is to improve the oral health of the citizens of Ohio and enhance the dental profession in the state.
NEW: the 2010 Bowers Essay Award -- open to students at OSU and CWRU dental schools. Applicant must write a 500 - 800 word essay that deals with an historical aspect of dentistry in Ohio. Two awards will be given: $1,000 and $500 and entries are due by Oct. 15, 2010.

Help perpetuate your commitment to dentistry through continued support of the ODA Foundation. One aspect of your estate planning can be in an obituary by requesting donations to the ODA Foundation in lieu of flowers. All donations in memory or honor of are acknowledged by letter to the donor and to the person or family for whom the donation was made. Since 1995, the ODAF has awarded over $419,000 in grants and scholarships to dental education studies and programs in Ohio.

Honor your loved ones and special individuals in your office with an "In Recognition" donation in their name to the ODA Foundation. Donors and honorees will be listed in the 2010 ODAF Annual Report and posted online; all honorees will receive a letter from the Foundation informing them of the donation.
