About the ODA
There are three councils of the Ohio Dental Association, which report to the Executive Committee and House of Delegates. Councils are comprised of members from each of the nine subdistricts of the Association. Most councils meet four times a year at the ODA office in Columbus.
Council on Access to Care and Public Service
Develops and implements public service programs of the Association and develops and implements ODA sponsored access to dental care programs. For more information, contact Kathy Woodward or Laura Maguire.
Council on Dental Care Programs and Dental Practice
Assists the membership in addressing issues related to regulatory compliance, dental insurance, managed care, Direct Reimbursement, dental practice and risk management. For more information, contact Chris Moore or Denise Boltz.
Subcouncil on Peer Review
Provides guidance and assistance to local dental society peer review committees and oversees the peer review process in Ohio. It also serves as the final decision making body for cases that are appealed from the local dental society to the ODA. For more information, contact Chris Moore or Denise Boltz.
Council on Membership Services

Determines ways in which organized dentistry can better meet the needs of new dental professionals and implements programs that fulfill their needs. For more information, contact Karli Hill or Kelly Jacobson.
